I think U can still buy it on
www.cdnow.com & www.allmusic.com
I remember buying it in 1993 the day it came out.
It´s the far best Funkadelic compilation
from the Eddie Hazel Westbound years.
It contains some awsome single B-sides not available
on any other album.I hope U can get it.

I only recommend that album for die hard fans. Its basically a singles collection but there are so many essential songs missing and besides funkadelic were an album band more than anything else. Also the set has a lot of b sides/unreleased material. I don't recommend it for a new Funkadelic fan. If you want to get your feet wet go pick up Maggot Brain, Standing On The Verge and One Nation Under A Groove and then get the others which are just as good. You won't regret it.

Trust me let "Cosmic Slop" be the first Funkadelic album you buy and listen to. Then listen to "Maggot Brain", "America Eats It's Young","Standing On the Verge" after "Kid Funkadelic" the magic was lost.

This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

Looks like you only own the later Parliament and Warner Bros Funkadelic years. IMO the Westbound Funkadelic years are the best of all and Music For Your Mother is a good 2CD compilation of them.

But alot of it is so instumental & sad psychedelic sounding, that's y i picked up those ones. Although I do want all of them, it's just gonna take me sum time getting used 2 those old ones...

Get Standing On The Verge Of Getting It On, it's quite simply the best Pfunk album though people will argue that. Buy it today!
