It took Heidi Klum seven hours to transform into Michael Jackson

Heidi Klum may be the queen of the runway but for Halloween this year, she was the King of Pop.

The model took her festive looks into a whole new dimension when she transformed into Jackson’s werewolf persona from his 1983 hit music video ‘Thriller’.

It took seven gruelling hours in the makeup chair to apply giant fake teeth, complex prosthetics and an elaborate wig for Klum to step out in New York on Tuesday night as a fully-fledged werewolf.

But the Project Runway host said it was worth it.

“It takes a long time to lay the prosthetics but then putting it all together, it took seven hours,” Klum told People magazine.

“Michael Jackson was always such an icon and the ‘Thriller’ video is such an iconic video and I was like, ‘I have to redo that’.”

The German beauty took to Instagram to share the entire process with her four million followers to show just how Mike Marino of Prosthetic Renaissance Inc put together the elaborate look.
