This band should be everywhere.

Why aren't they?

i haven't given up on them!

i do think dude's sound is pretty derivative of dylan and springsteen, but he brings enough of his own thing to the table to make the war on drugs one of the best mainstream rock bands producing today.

they're not everywhere because people, generally, have extremely bad taste.

I love Thinkin Of A Place is gorgeous, but it sounds a lot like Dylan in that song. Other than that i haven't listened any other song.

It's kind of hard to win a "war" that was never meant to be won in the first place. Contained & controlled to only effect certain communities, & ethnicity's? Yes. Terminate all illegal drugs, period? Hell naw!!

A good solid rock band--I like their tunes. Please excuse my Nancy Reagan gif--just couldn't resist it because of your thread title. There are still good rock bands out there, but we tend to hear them at music festivals and not on the charts, unfortunately...
