Only she'll have paid people worthwhile to PERFORM on said album/albums. Also This will fulfill her need to have contributed something "spiritual" to the world without participating in the quick easy tricks and sells of corporate life. Children will have heard HER VOICE and recognized or everywhere else when they've grown up. Ifv there's a heaven ; she's surely been thinking about smiling down upon THAT. God bless her. *180 degrees different: it'll be sad if "A CHRISTMAS CORNUCOPIA" is the FINAL ALBUM released by ANNIE LENNOX in her lifetime. I'd rather even hear her sing the menus to local valley restaurants and bakeries. She's such a tasty dish ♫"Trollin, Trolling! We could have fun just trollin'!"♫

Johnny Mathis probably has 20 Christmas albums by now. Johnny is the one who really popularized both the Christmas & Greatest Hits albums. If they sell, why should anyone stop making them? Unlike regular albums, holiday records has a market every year. Like Nat King Cole & acts who are mostly forgotten otherwise on the radio like Burl Ives & The Waitresses can get some airplay each year. Same with Halloween songs. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I'd take some Patti labelle and The Dap-Kings. At least it would be different and refreshing. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Chante Moore has a new Christmas CD and I was thinking of getting it.....until I read this info:
The Grammy nominated R&B singer/songwriter, TV personality and author delivers her very first Christmas album "Christmas Back To You". Destined to become an instant classic, Chanté sings perennial favorites like "Please Come Home For Christmas" and "Merry Christmas Baby" with a soulful sultriness. This album also includes original music such as "Christmas In LA" and "Santa Don't Sleigh" which brings a touch of the South's popular Trap music influences to the holidays.

I like Johnny, that's how I know he has a lot of Christmas albums. He released his newest one a few years ago and also sang on a recent Dave Koz Christmas album. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Mannheim Steamroller has more holiday albums than non-holiday ones. Most are Christmas and a few Halloween ones. Cheap Trick - Christmas Christmas “We put up some Christmas trees in the studio, picked out songs we all loved and voila!” says the group’s Robin Zander of Christmas Christmas, out Oct. 20, 2017. Four months after releasing its last studio album, the band covers holiday classics from The Ramones to Chuck Berry and pens three original tracks. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Hanson - Finally It’s Christmas Twenty years since their debut Christmas album, Snowed In, the brothers swing back just in time for the holidays. “[Snowed In] has resonated with so many as a part of their family tradition for two decades,” says the trio in a joint statement. Finally It’s Christmas arrives Oct. 27, 2017 with four original songs. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

All I know is right this moment I am so happy I grabbed Gwen's Christmas album when I saw it. There are some songs I'm really feeling and it's a nice feeling to have them break into my thoughts right now.
