Yep. It reminds me of a nutty woman on Dr. Phil last year. Her name was Annie, and she believed she was the muse for "Smooth Criminal". She had someone break into her house, spy on her, leave footprints in talcum powder she'd put on the floor, etc etc. She was on a legal crusade to get royalties from the song. She goes through almost an hour of laying out how the things in the song are exactly what happened to her. Her daughter was on there saying her mother just needed to get a job, because they were broke & homeless and there was a younger daughter at home suffering.
Eventually, Dr. Phil played his ace. He had engineer Matt Forger there to talk about how there was a CPR dummy in or around the studio. And when you give CPR, you ask "are you okay"? And of course, the dummy's name is Annie. It was the simplest of things to inspire a song. This woman eventually changed her tune saying it was a coincidence, but everyone else was like "Not whatcha said 20 minutes ago!"
It's like when "Billie Jean" was out and a woman tried to use MJ, saying he was the father of one of her twin babies.
We need another one debating if MJ is "Susie" in Blood On The Dancefloor or "Little Susie". Then another one on like the Rabbit from Speed Demon/Moonwalker. Is MJ really a Claymation rabbit?

I guess that incident inspired the spam that became this post....but it is about paranoia and based off his heartbeat, and I'm sure he was very scared after Thriller and channeled it into this song and just gave it another character outside of himself. Doesn't sound that different from what prince did with female alter ego's, but in a different light, you know?
