David worked with Philly soul artists for songs from his 1975 album Young Americans... I was discussing the fact that a young Luther Vandross was part of this album. I saw some studio footage a couple of years ago showing more of Luther than I can find now... If someone can link me to a more recent source for the in-studio black and white filmed footage of the recording sessions, I would really appreciate it... Here's what I found on youtube but I saw more and better films of the back-up singers and studio sessions a couple of years ago....
