She would be Lucky so lucky for Me to want to Down-Load that Crap She has been Putting out since 95.what a Bum She is? I've heard more of that New Album&thus far it's headed toward the 99 cent Bin.

(sigh) He's just bitter because he would rather see his hero MJ on top again...lol...so of course it makes sense to trash anyone who is doing better than MJ these days.

MJ aside, as you said her place in music history is assured and that's to be respected yet I'd concur on the 95 cut off point. Since then from what I've heard it's been pretentious, producer-driven electronica all the way... no?

let me tell you one thing: Mike don't ever need another Hit Man.He has already proved Himself from back in the day.I can Move on in time.Charts don't make Me Dig a Artist.but FYI MJ did Have a Couple of Hits last time out&a Number 1 Album minus all the Promotion attached with Being a Major Artist.but I Like Older Madonna stuff but She got corny to me after 95 with the exception of a song or two IMHO.

On average, Gen Xers and older like having albums that we can actually hold and carry around, as opposed to the younger cats who don't mind if it's solid, liquid, or whatEVER, as long as they can hear it.

That's often so true! My younger teenage cousins cannot understand why I continue to buy albums when one has the option of downloading it etc...

Crazy kids! wink

If the music is good I will buy it, no question. Sometimes I buy albums by chance before I've heard them when they're on sale and I'm feeling a bit risky. Sometimes even when they're really expensive. But I can't do that all the time, and on principle now, I will not buy an album by an artist with 12 crap songs and 1 good one. Sometimes downloading album tracks entice me to buy an album, because who can be botheerd to download entire albums.

The only album I have ever fully downloaded is Cyndi Lauper's 'Shine'. The reason being that I cannot for the life of me find it to buy either on the shelf or online.

Well, if you're that intent in listening to it, MTV.com will be streaming the entire album for free. I think that beings on Wednesday or so.

Besides, it's not like the album's not going to leak after it's released. Why shouldn't Madonna not want her stuff all over the internet before its release?

I remember how pissed off all of the MJ fans were when Xscape was leaked before MJ wanted it online; I got threatened with a "lawsuit" on Kazaa for having it on my computer!

Look what happened w/Eminem and 50 Cent; they had to push forward the release date to combat all of the copies being downloaded and bootlegged.

I say give it a few days and the internet will probably be crawling with the songs from the CD.

to be pedantic, i've a feeling 'Invincible' outsold 'Music' worldwide.Madonna doesn't even outsell Pink or Aguilera these days, so whose on top?

...and does it really matter?

Actually, 'Music' outsold 'Invincible' worldwide. Estimated sales for 'Invincible' range from 6 to 7 million copies, and 'Music' is at around 12-13 million.

That would be because the song we have heard isn't the final version. It has no release date. The leaking of it so early might have mucked up any upcoming plans... but, every MJ fan who has found it has probably heard it. They're just keeping quiet about it.

Well, personally, I prefer Madonna and WB tightening security and doing their best to keep the songs from leaking to the internet before their release than, say, suing the fans. Which makes more sense to you. Be real now. rolleyes
