This is AWESOME! Wish they would release a live album of this. Anyone know of a SBD bootleg?

Very good, despite the odd pairing. Back when he had fire in the pants. An exciting performer.

Not that odd a pairing . Like Stevie and Rolling Stones 80s style :)

Did anyone else read the topic as a punchline? I was tempted to take the piss out of the Beatles comments

I heart TTD! Great powerfull voice, very charismatic on stage, a real old skool allround musician!
.
I do think he had more talent than many other artist back in the days, dont know what went wrong in his carreer later on.

I've always thought that if INXS had continued on with Terence as their singer, they both would still be relevant, mega-class touring act today, like AC/DC. It's a shame it lasted only four songs.

TTD has probably my favourite male voice of all-time. But I'm not sure how suited it is to these songs. Michael Hutchence brought something very different to INXS.

Well different from what? There was no one before him, so he was the original.

I do think TTD was a really good choice to fill in this one time with the band. They've been through a gamut of lead singers since MH death. Jimmy Barnes before TTD, the longest being JD Fortune (who really was good before he became the troubled soul of the band), and Jon Stevens.

I think this specific performance works because it was live and had a free feeling about it. You hear that classic INXS sound yet the power of TTD comes out on top of it all. I'm not sure if I'd want to hear an INXS album with TTD on vocals across the board. But this one time? T'was good.

INXS has become Australia's VanHalen or Queen.
