Where did you get 50 from? Her first single came out in the late 1950s and 1st album in the early 1960s.

I believe this has to do with her success when she went to Atlantic.

My favorite Aretha song of all time.

I bought the "Get It Right" album off the strength of hearing it on the radio a couple of years ago. I said to myself, "how come they never play THIS song? This is a smash!" So I went out and bought it used on vinyl for $3.50.

I was minding my business and then those drums started kicking...aggressive bass line. The percussion....

When Aretha starts singing with diva-like lyrics talking about how she would snatch any girl that even TRY IT followed by those timbales and heavy use of hi hats. i...excuse my french... lose my shit before the chorus even comes on.

Aretha I will never get enough of this song. Cheers!
