I always liked this song. Pity that the rest of the album wasn't quite up to par with this song. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

Love!!! They sure can "sang!" I never coud find another ideo besides All of Me itl now thanks! This one sounds like the producers were trying to copy Madonnas Lucky Star beat.

It was produced by the late, great Richard Dimples Fields. And look at the video up top

Dimples???? Chile, I hope Barbara wasn't playing this track on that raggedy component set next to their bed.....EVVVVVry night! LOL . . Yes I watched the other one too. That's the one I said sounds like the Lucky Star Beat. . . All Of Me is amazing!!!! Just the harmony on the first, intro chorus "YOU" when they say "for all of ....YOU!" Makes me smile! I love gospel harmony BG vocals. I assume they're basic major triads but my ear isn't that good to tell.

OK...I guess now someone's gonna have to start a Gwen Guthrie thread. I don't have time right at this moment to do it proper justice, but maybe this weekend.

I believe one of these ladies was in the 70s group Alton McClain and Destiny (remember their 1979 disco hit "It Must Be Love"?)
