Beatles Let it Be vs Let it Be...Naked Just picked up the Naked version of this album. Interesting comparing it to the original, a lot of the songs are very similar versions. Think i'm slightly leaning towards the original album, think it flows a bit better. What do you people prefer? We're here, might as well get into it.

I really prefer Naked. Beatle fans argue about it, and (I guess legitimately) complain that it is a doctored product, having lots of artificial segues of different takes and edits and so on -- which entirely goes against the band's idea for the whole Get Back/Let It Be project at the time -- but, just based on the listening experience, I think Naked is way better.

Yes I guess I've been hearing the original Spector version so long it feels weird trying to get into an altered track arrangement. Although I think it's cool they modernized the sound a bit. What I found frustrating is my cd copy of naked seems to have some sort of weird flickering noises throughout the cd. Strangely and thankfully they didn't come through when I transferred it to computer. [Edited 9/24/17 21:46pm] We're here, might as well get into it.

Annh, I prefer the original version. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato
