I read issues of digital magazines, including Rolling Stone. 😊

I've had a subscription since 1986. And I still read it. Now, I've often read much of it before it gets to my mailbox, but I actually like the act of reading a magazine, and yes, Rolling Stone is one I read, cover to cover, even things I'm not interested in (okay, I'm almost never absolutely sure I'm not interested in something--there's always the chance that I'll find some way to be interested, so I remain open). I like that sort of thing. Ah well.

What has amused me about this story is all the babbling from people in comment sections acting like the magazine's taken a recent detour into left-wing politics, acting like the content hasn't been heavily non-music for decades (if not since the beginning), or not basically liberal for the entirety of its run. Folks are funny, when they're not depressing.

Yes, if anything it was even more left winged and certainly more "progressive" in the early years, as it was founded during the counterculture movement. I still like it, but it has unfortunately conceded to more gossip like almost all other "news" outlets as well as featuring people who have no artistic merit like Brittany Spears.
