I've had a subscription since 1986. And I still read it. Now, I've often read much of it before it gets to my mailbox, but I actually like the act of reading a magazine, and yes, Rolling Stone is one I read, cover to cover, even things I'm not interested in (okay, I'm almost never absolutely sure I'm not interested in something--there's always the chance that I'll find some way to be interested, so I remain open). I like that sort of thing. Ah well. | |

Yes, if anything it was even more left winged and certainly more "progressive" in the early years, as it was founded during the counterculture movement. I still like it, but it has unfortunately conceded to more gossip like almost all other "news" outlets as well as featuring people who have no artistic merit like Brittany Spears. | |
