U2 has released their latest song "The Blackout" from their upcoming studio album, Songs of Experience.

U2 has noted "The Blackout" is not the first single from Songs of Experience, announcing that the proper first single titled "You're The Best Thing About Me," will arrive Sept. 6.

I really love U2. Have been following them for 30 years...in fact, going to see them this Sunday in Detroit. Not sure I love this song, though. Need to give it a few more listens.

I'm reassured by the strong live vocal.

I heard a snippet from the start of the tour that was not reassuring. I figured Bono lost his voice.
