Funkadelic - Too Tight For Light - Family Series Vol. 5 Can anyone tell me if this was intended for the fabled double album version of Electric Spanking or it an Uncle Jam outtake? The date's listed as 1979 which would of course be the year Uncle Jam was released, but it could've been recorded after the album... Anyway, it's a Junie rump shaker and I was curious to those in the know. "Anna Stesia come to me, talk to me, ravish me

I can't remember whether he says it's supposed to be the follow up to Knee Deep or Electric Spanking? He talks about it somewhere on the interview segment I think. I don't believe Junie completed the track.

I searched around online for info about this song and I found this description on a P Funk page:
"Too Tight For Light" is a choice Junie dance track that was supposed to be the follow-up to "Knee Deep" but never quite made it.
so my guess is that it was originally intended for Uncle Jam Wants You,possibly as the second single from that album...but for some reason it didn't make the album after all.

the track had alot of potential...just needed a little more work....that groove is ferocious! definitely would have fit perfectly on either Uncle Jam Wants You or Electric Spanking Of War Babies.
