Beck's new album, Colors, has an official release date and track list. The follow-up to 2014's Morning Phase will finally arrive October 13, and features the previously released "Wow" and a new mix of the single "Dreams.

I immediately thought of these artists when I heard this song. I love it!

The single LOSER could have been a career killer for most artists, I'm glad to see his talent overcame that and he's been in it for twenty plus years.

He's calling this his ''experimental pop'' album. I can hardly wait to hear the whole thing.

I've listened to it four times now and have trouble remembering the melodic hooks from any other songs than "Dreams" and "Wow" (if the hook of the latter counts as "melodic"). It's not that the record is bad, but I think he's managed to come up with far better hooks on records that weren't intended to be "pop" records.

I don't know, it just seems he's lost interest in this project halfway into it. It could explain the three years it took from him to make it. "Dreams" came out almost 2½ years ago. The production gimmicks used on it already seem slightly dated too (they have that "the hottest thing from 2014" feel to them).
