Old SChool Joint of the day (Neena Cherry)

I saw this video last night and couldn't help to wonder, whatever happened to Neena Cherry. She was cool, the lyrics where a lil' bit corny but nevertheless it made you dance...

Buffalo Stance- Neena Cherry

She guest stars on 2 tracks on Groove Armada's "LoveBox". It's an incredible album. Very well rounded. I definitely suggest you check it out.

I dig the duet she did with Michael Stipe: "Trout"...it has a John Bonham drum sample, and a Steppenwolf loop from the song "The Pusher"...

It's been so long since I've listened to it, I forgot the name of the album it comes from. boxed

I wasn't too crazy about this song. My favorite Neneh Cherry song was "Buddy X." Loved it! It was a song about Lenny Kravitz's cheating ways.

Me too! I have this on a mixer with "My Prerogative," "Straight Up" and some Milli Vanilli tracks.
