The album that inspired that Beatles sgt pepper. Wouldn’t be nice is a classic song the harmonies are so lush. The sound of this record in general is so unique it sounds like an orchestra rock doo wop band by the sea.

• You still believe in me

This sounds like a Christmas song with all the shiny bell like noises in the background. Nice melody

• That’s not me

Not really a fan of this song but its good.

• Don’t talk

A little too slow for my taste. Reminds me of a stoop staircase. Not very lyrically diverse.

• I’m waiting for the day

The drums in this are great breaking up the very mellow vibe of this song. Good song.

• Lets go away for awhile

An instrumental track that shows how orchestral this album is.

• Sloop John b

Nice melody and good song. Fun song.

• God only knows

One of greatest songs ever written.

This song is kind of meh. It has a nice melody and solo though.

Average song on this album.

• I just wasn’t made for these times

Who doesn’t feel like this every once in a while. Another average good song.

Another instrumental track in my opinion its better than first one. I dig it.

Reminds me of the sea. I like this song. Very mournful.

Overall I’m not really a fan of the beach boys or their vocals but some songs on this album are immortal like wouldn’t it be nice and god only knows. Brian Wilson certainly was a genius while creating this all the music in album is layered and expertly crafted. I wouldn’t listen through this whole again though just pick out some songs.

I haven't yet listened the album through and through, not just yet. But i love wholeheartedly Don't Talk and God Only Knows.
