Charlie Hunter "Songs From the Analog Playground" (2001---I bought this CD last year and I'm STILL playing it! Charlie is a virtuoso guitarist who deserves much more recognition.

He has just released a new CD called 'Right Now Move'.

KOOP is cool but I wouldn't define it as real jazz, as in defining jazz by its greats & classics.

Oh yeah, that album kicks so much ass! It also features Norah Jones (covering "More Than This") and Mos Def (who actually sings on one song). Is the new record any good?

Cool! I thought I was the only one on this site who knew about Charlie Hunter and that record...lol...the new CD is all instrumental but honestly,I haven't really taken the time to listen to it.I'll sit down and play it this weekend then write a review next week.

DID SOMEONE SAY JAZZ!!!

Watchthemfall, back in summer of 2002, I ran a thread on favorite jazz recordings. In that thread, me, mistermaxx, Supernova and pfunkjazz ran down our favorite recordings of the jazz genre. I'll go into my profile library and revive the thread. The selections within that thread should prove useful to you.

Peace and happy listening,
BRO915
