Beyonce does not have respect for herself and They are not in a real marriage. There is no amount of money in the world that would make a MARRIED man say to the WORLD that he gives gifts to is mistresses, cheats on his wife and has threesomes. If Beyonce REALLY respected herself she would not be singing about her husband cumming on her face and cheating on her. Its disrespectful not only to Beyonce but to their children (whether its true or not(. The man said on tape that he cheated on Beyonce and the reason why Solange kicked his ass in the elevator was because one of his side pieces was egging him on at the Gala. Yall can believe all of this is fake but I believe there IS truth to it. It just sad that they are soooo desperate to remain relevant that they are using this for PR. LETS BE REAL, nobody is checking for these two musically anymore, the STATS show this. The only reason why they get attention now is for rapping or singing about their marital problems. Like who uses a cheating spouse for PR? WHO DOES? If you are truly in love you would not do that AND then rap about giving gifts to mistresses???? But then Beyonce sings about empowering women but she stays with a cheater Both of them are jokes

I believe Beyoncé and Jay Z's marriage is as real as ANY marriage. FTR, Bey respects herself and her children too much to sit back and allow Jay Z to cheat on her and have mistresses. I don't know if this may have happened when they first started their relationship, but I would be willing to bet money that he wouldn't be doing it now. He would never disrespect Blue Ivy or Bey like that. Finally, women stay with cheating men all the time. I am not condoning that kind of behavior; but, let's not act as if women( women as famous as Bey) haven't stayed with a cheating spouse. Some of these women stayed with their spouses for years after they caught them cheating. Some of these women (famous women)stayed with that spouse and covered for them and pretended everything was alright until the cheating spouse became so blatant, the other spouse was forced to leave. Bottomline is that I believe Bey and JayZ's marriage is REAL, as real as it gets. I love how they let people speculate and gossip and don't respond to the rumors. They let their music do the talking. LOVE IT!!
So bragging about cheating on your wife, having threesomes and giving gifts to your mistresses is not disrespectful???
Any woman who sings about a man cumming on her face does not have no respect for herself or her children.
You are being extremely indenial here. |

I think Jay Z's new album is his version of "Lemonade". It's all done to sell records and stir controversy. This is the new way to sell records these days. All about the money.
It is and its sad how people are falling for it. The music industry is dead. |

Here's my take on this: People wanted the drama of Jay and Beyonce. They live for the bullshit so one of the smartest things these two could've done was sell it. And it worked. |

I agree with you..and yes their PR teams should be winning awards for how successful they've made them both but perhaps I'd have more respect for them if they possessed some type of integrity. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. |

I think my point of view isn't more obvious than others. For instance, while most of the celebs are declaring this new Jay-Z album as the next coming on their social media accounts, all Jay-Z basically did was call out his own wife and exposed her as being a passive agressive doormat...a sharp contrast to her "Queen Bey" image showcasing the independent woman stance who demands respect and doesn't settle for less.
It's interesting how in the early years of this couple's relationship that everything was kept so hush-hush about their personal lives and being together that you couldn't hear a mouse piss on cotton in regards to anything outside of their mega careers. Fast forward about 10 plus years later and they are both willing to put their marriage out on front street in an effort to stay relevant in the public eye and keep the dollars rolling in when they really didn't need to salvage their integrity to get this "extra piece of change". They are basically fucking with the minds of their fans and its working to a tee. And sure, they both speak of other minor topics on their latest albums, but obviously no one is talking about that. They are both bored and had nothing else to talk about in their music because how many different ways can you say that you're successful at getting paper, talk about your material possessions and talk about your haters? Hmm, let's spill some tea!
So, in a nutshell, they have both released albums giving their points of view of their marriage and the gripes they have for the other. At the end of the day, the pop queen tolerates cheating from her husband and the hip hop mogul continues to run all over his wife because he knows she isn't going anywhere (at least not while the kids are young). In another 10 years, when the ink on their divorce hasn't dried yet, the pop queen will release a #1 best selling book providing specific details of all that she went through during her marriage (which I wouldn't be surprised if she accuses him of some type of abuse behind closed doors) giving her a damsel in distress image who has overcome a shitty marriage all while feeling obligated to dress it up as a fairy tale. And guess what? The public will eat that up too.
I swear Solange has more balls than these two.

I definitely agree with you. I do not like Jay Z or his music, but as I stated in another thread about Beyonce, I am glad that she is very successful and has everything her heart desires as far as her career is concerned, but I love her music from the beginning of this century and decade, and I loved when she was in Destiny's Child, but I don't like any of her music that she has released in this decade, and I could definitely care less about their marital problems that they are having or not having. But it makes me think about their children and how they will feel if they hear their parents' albums someday. [Edited 7/10/17 13:36pm]Erin Smith |

Gurl, some of us can peep game.
So many of these so called couples really have an arrangement for mutual benefit but people actually take it personal and get salty when you try to point that out. I saw through the smokescreen long ago.
I said the same thing when I heard 444 as I did when I heard Lemonade. "Can't these mofos afford a damn therapist?"
With all that said, I am digging The Story Of OJ.

You know this gimmick is not new. I will let MickyDolenz post all of the "answer" records about relationships in the soul genre (e.g. "She's Got Papers On Me").
I don't really care about the dirt. I do care that Jay-Z's last album was so shallow that I am not sure about picking up the new one.
But I heard No I.D. did ALL of the beats on it and used "Ha Ya (Eternal Life)" by Clark Sisters which I was sampling in 2010, so I know I can vibe on his production. |

Woman To Woman and From His Woman To You comes to mind.
I think that in this case it's a bit unusual because this is a couple that is still married to each other, presumably speaking on very recent personal issues.
Bey and Jay appear to have an "understanding", as the grown folks used to say. If they are fine with it then so am I but maybe people think of it as them misrepresenting the situation?

Not the first time...i rememebr those rumors about Rhianna being looked at about "Ring The Alarm". Whatever the case, at least it is thereputic singing about it in the music, where it should be. Loves issues inspires some of the best album releases...except for Robin Thick's "Paula" but marvin gaye's "Here, My Dear" is a strong indication.
Beyonce also spoke alot on their relationship and some life issues on the "Beyonce" album. "Blue", "Jealous", "No Angel", "Drunk In Love", "Rocket", "Heaven" if anything these last two albums are the most personal she has ever been about herself.

Yah, I think they are bascially friends. Personal lyrics aren't new but the way they are doing it as husband and wife is uncommon. I can't think of another married couple who has done it.
Too bad Mary J's hubby doesn't sing. That woud be a good one.
