Jackie Wilson and the music group Le Gent

biggrin

Can we send suggestions to the Unsung TVOne series about doing an episode about Jackie Wilson, a singer from the 50s, 60s, and 70s?

Also, whatever happened to the music group Le Gent. They were New Jack Swing artists and made one album in the 1990s and then disappeared.

Five Stairsteps
Gene Chandler
Bobby Byrd

I've never heard of Le Gent.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
