When a much younger and unknown Bieber promoted his first single he dropped by Wendy Williams...The kid had a decent singing voice but I did not think he was gonna be HUGE...Wendy said that was the FIRST & LAST time he ever appeared on her show...He became a Superstar and no longer relied on the Talk Show format...

I don't know why anybody goes on Wendy's show. I don't think Method Man is going to appear on it anytime soon. lol

...LOL...Wendy is an acquired taste, but she's also #1 or in the Top 5 in all the major Markets, including NYC...Being the #1 Daytime talk show in NYC will get you some good-gets..

I am always in awe of her Producers A.K.A The Goons...They will sleep with a source or threaten anybody to get Factual Dirt on Celebs &/or Current events...Wendy has aired Breaking News or interesting Trash before anyone else had a chance to air it..

Now that she Lost The Oprah pounds, she looks Gorgeous..

It would seem the best way to get your answer is to join a Bieber fansite and ask the source. I'm sure they will tell you why they like him. razz

Justin Bieber's Purpose World Tour Final Numbers: Over $250 Million Earned
8/10/2017 by Bob Allen Billboard

The final numbers are in for Justin Bieber's Purpose World Tour. The trek topped $250 million in ticket sales based on the remaining box office tallies (see list, below) reported by AEG Presents, the worldwide promoter of the tour since it launched in March of 2016. The overall attendance during the tour's 16-month run surpassed 2.7 million from a total of 140 performances.

On July 24, Bieber canceled the remaining dates of the tour, just days prior to an August stadium run through North America and a final sweep through four Asian markets in September. The pop star’s final appearance on the trek was ultimately a headlining turn at the British Summer Time Festival in London on July 2.

The final reports from AEG, however, covered 17 performances that stretched from Latin American concerts in April to events in Asia and South Africa during May and, finally, three June headlining dates in Europe. The $50 million in revenue from these final weeks on the road land the trek in the top slot on Billboard’s most recent weekly tally of Hot Tours (see list below).

Among the box office highlights during the Purpose Tour, the highest-grossing venue worldwide was Mexico City’s Foro Sol with $9.4 million from three sellouts in February, earlier this year. The sold ticket count at the Mexican capital city’s sports and concert venue was 155,201 from all three shows combined.

The top North American gross was $4.3 million from a three-night arena stand at Staples Center in Los Angeles beginning on March 20, 2016 - just 11 days after the tour began. Attendance at those three sold out performances during the early days of the tour totaled 41,445.

In the Canadian singer’s home country, Toronto’s Air Canada Centre claimed the top box office counts with $2.9 million from 31,482 sold seats on May 18 and 19, also during the opening leg through North America in 2016.

I gotta say, what a waste to have such popularity and 0% good music and 3% talent. All his songs scream dated and trendy... Nothing timeless. Pretty similar to Britney Spears.

Now that this thread was bumped, Britney Spears' "Toxic" is clearly as timeless as any song Beyonce or Justin Timberlake have ever recorded, given that they are her more respected peers.

Bieber has nothing like that in his discography.

I like the Britney Spears song 'Everytime' more than 'Toxic' because she actually composed it, but the former is not a 2000s pop classic.

'Love Yourself' is obviously not bad but I think we'd have to see how it fares a decade from now.

While Brittany may not be Mozart, she has actually written some of her own hits and has co writes. I don't understand why she is painted as a "puppet" when she is not. At least she has written an entire songs by her self unlike Beyonce who oddly gets writing accolades when she doesn't write any of her music. I always thought she was more so the puppet out of the two. Brittany is underrated. Every time she wrote herself is one of her best songs AND it was a hit.

Yeah, there is even more evidence she wrote that song from this clip (1:50) where the chord progession of the first two bars of the composition she's playing near the end is identical to the bridge of Everytime. She changes the melody but what her left hand is playing stayed the same in the official version of the song; and it was a worldwide hit.

At the end of the day, Beyonce is arguably a much more talented entertainer than Britney is but to say she is a more talented artist than Britney, or even more of an artist at all, would be based on absolutely nothing.

I don't think so (that's subjective) Prime Britney was a more talented dancer than Beyonce and acrobatic, she also had more entertaining and memorable performances and music videos but as you said Brittany is definitely more so an artist compared to Beyonce and she has a better catalog. The only thing Beyonce had over her talent wise is vocals but that is about it imo, of course Britney's performing skills have declined because of her mental illness but in her prime, she was by far the biggest pop star in the 21st century.

Britney is more iconic than Beyoncé and more successful. Let's not talk about her videos, they are awesome. Love me some Britney Spears. I remember some 15 years ago, if i remeber well, there was a huge excitement in Mexico City because of her first concert in our country; i never went to see her live, but nevertheless i was just as excited.

Everytime is a great song, i remeber it was premiered here in Mexico about april 2004, love the video. Toxic was premiered in January 24 2004 as far as i recall.
