I'm glad this thread popped up because I HATE cow bells. . Late 80s and early 90s music was destroyed by bow bells - particularlrly 12inch remixes. . A good example of appauling percussion that has destroyed an album is, Whitney Houston's I'm Your Baby Tonight. . Great title track but very dated album with dated production with excessive cow bells! .
