I was at the Welcome to America tour in Oakland. Prince said that Oracle Arena was the happiest place on earth that night.........then he brought out Carlos Santana who ripped it up on guitar for about a 10 minute set. IT was incredible. Carlos and Prince.

I was there, too. Great moment in music! Happy B'day to Carlos...and me. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

mjscarousal said: Happy Birthday to a underrated Legend!!! That's a contradiction in terms. If someone is called a legend, then that means he is famous and gets a lot of admiration and respect. And that means he's not underrated. Carlos' name always shows up in "best guitarist" lists. But, anywho, yes, happy birthday!
