almost a 35 Year Career it hasn't blown up yet. It's gonna blow up in his face I'm gonna watch It kinda has Maxxx... Of course people talk about him... the sentences begin & end w/ the word "freak" which is not a good thing, don't you agree? At some point you have to ask what's more important - being "bankable" or being a respectable human being/father/artist. He can't sheild his kids from all this shit forever. And while I don't necessarily worry about the lives they'll lead, I do think the cloud they're gonna live under (via their "father's" legacy) is tainted enough as it is... It seems like he craves ANY kind of publicity, doesn't matter how overwhelmingly negative or bizarre. He could do a special every week & of course people would watch b/c @ this point his public image is beyond repair, it's like a train wreck on repeat. And while watching a train wreck is irresistable & intriguing, it's also fucking tragic... he sells fewer and fewer records every time he puts one out, and the only time he gets a spike in sales is when he puts his own little personal freakshow on parade on television. and which albums sell? Thriller. and Off The Wall, and Bad. the 3 that have always sold. how you think this parlays into him being some huge musical and artistic mover and shaker in 2003 is beyond belief.

ACTUALLY, HIStory and Dangerous have also re-entered the charts over here, and what's this "fewer and fewer" about? Invincible was the 10th biggest seller of 2001 and only had 2 months worth of sales - undoubtedly the latest release of the rest of the year end chart. Sales are down big time in the industry. It's not really possible for anyone, even Eminem, to emulate the success of HIStory, letalone Bad Dangerous, and Thriller has been out of the question for everyone who came along before and since.

Yeah, right. MJ, the world's most famous NAMBLA member, seems to be somewhat starved for attention. You know he had to be pissed when Joe Millionaire beat him in the ratings. Well, let's all watch as the big, bad, media continues to exploit poor, helpless Michael Jackson. With Michael Jackson's permission and blessing, of course.

My question is how far will he take the quest to continuously humiliate himself publicly? What's the cost of that to MJ the human being, not the singer moving units. I'm talking about his sense of inner peace (if there's any to be had), not his paper...

Don't bother with Mistermaxx, please...he calls people tackywacky!!! wtf?!! Sure Mj can sell, but he ain't getting no respect. His music gets exposed through these shows in one way or another, but besides his PAST music, people think he's a trip and needs a real good hug or some therapy. I applaud you Shygirl and Locoarts( and I appologize for my rude comments to Shygirl if you can remember them!!) Mj has not been able to put out a 'tight'album. Mj acts like a child and needs pity. and now he's trying to OVEREXPOSE himself, as Ellie put it out in another post. Mistermaxxx, you keep saying his legacy will never be forgotten, he has a lot of talent, etc., but he ain't walking away with respect, with dignity nor with praise.
