Paul McCartney in Manchester Just been to see Macca at the MEN arena, and I have to say I was absolutely astounded. If any of you get a chance to see him on his current tour GO.
Im a huge paul fan but my mate was really dubious about going to see him, he also was blown away however. As a show, the lighting, the sound, the band, the set list, the man himself, all were top class. I saw prince in manchester last october and I was similarly blown away by him but in a different way. Prince wowed you with his guitar playing and just sheer genius. Whilst Maccas genius shone through also, it was more about the vibe of the gig. Listening to this 60 year old delving into his 40 year back catalogue to play some of the most exuberant care free music there is, made me realise how iomportant music is. the faces on the people round me told the whole picture. Pure joy, pure class.

My sister and I saw his concert here in Detroit. It was pretty amazing (no "Maybe I'm Amazed" pun intended). When he broke into "Saw Her Standing There" we were dancing like crazy. The whole concert vibe, as you say, was GREAT! And talk about an "all ages" show. . .

Does Paul ever perform the song "Jet" in concert? That's my favorite Paul McCartney and Wings song.

He has performed it at every tour since 1989 and in the 70's also during the Wings Over America/The World tour.
