Thanks, I forgot about Superfly and would definitely include that. I liked the Foxy Brown soundtrack/score too in spite of its similarities to many others.

Conan The Barbarian (1982) Preferably the expanded version, but any of them are epic. Quite possibly the most perfect movie score ever recorded. Not the best, just the most perfect. The score is part of the movie and the movie would not be the same without it. There's barely even any dialogue in the first act, and still not much in the second, but the music moves (tells) the story.
