Yup. i like the song even more knowing that its a diss track about Taylor Swift. It also has this performace that absolutley slayed me once again. Swift should know her dancers need to get coins one way or another...but i understand why she is upset.

I like this song actually but the cannibalism angle I cannot take. It is hinted at in the video AND the SNL performance.

Bon Appetit and Swish sound very much like Azealia Banks. “It means finding the very human narrative of a man navigating between idealism and pragmatism, faith and politics, non- violence, the pitfalls of acclaim as the perils of rejection” - Lesley Hazleton on the first Muslim, the prophet.

The music industry has gone to hell. Katy went to the dark side with the rest of the lumi-puppets. Disgusting! She's posessed. . https://vigilantcitizen.c...aty-perry/

LOLOL The best part of the illumanti isn't that they secretely control the entire world and faked 9/11 it's that they've made a fun scavenger hunt of it all.

this that shit tbat makes me want to leave music alone forever...the demonry has become way too prevalent...not just the visuals either...alot of the recent/current music even has a spiritually dark feel to it...like never b4

Why is it evil? I just don't understand why they want to go that route? Why? Can't we have good music without the dark undertones?

. Yea, but that doesn't matter nowadays.

. There is still some good artists out there; you just gotta seek them out, and not on mainstream/radio. I'm not a fan of Katy's, but when I see good artists gone bad, it's just so sad. A waste of talent.

This is why I don't listen to any of the mainstream stuff and haven't for years. I just listen to a lot of jazz, lots of Prince, Ella Fitzgerald, Diana Washington... I just can't with the stuff of today-

. I agree; there are very few artists that I like in mainstream music nowadays. There are so many good artists that never get any recognition. And, this is what Prince always tried to do -- promote good talent. . Oh, you have excellent taste there!!

Pretty much whatever people are singing about now, people sang about then, sometimes in code or double entendres. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

yes, I've heard that. I listened to John Todd on Youtube- back from the 70's talking about how they put these messages in music back then, even. Honestly, sometimes I can't believe the stuff that's coming out now and that we're talking about now. Can someone please teleport me back to 1986 when the world at least seemed light and fluffy? lol.. Now we're eating people in videos.. .wtf?

. Yea, the backmasking (vocals recorded backwards) I think they call it. Led Zeppelin was famous for that. Prince did it too, and many others. . This was SO creepy: .
. Here's a whole list of some: . https://en.wikipedia.org/...d_messages

thats my point though...it used to be more subtle and veiled...now its just overt and raw... too much shock value defiles the art...

Not necessarily so, like Lucille Bogan in the 1920s & 30s. Also in the early years of the recording industry "coon songs" were really popular like they were in vaudeville. The first black recording star is George W. Johnson and his big hit was called The Laughing Coon. There's old blues & jazz songs with titles like Cocaine Blues, Weed Smoker's Dream, It's Tight Like That, etc. that were popular on jukeboxes in clubs & juke joints. There's what was called "party records" that were done by comedians like Redd Foxx in the 1950s. The original lyrics for Little Richard's Tutti Frutti that he performed before recording it were different. People here are complaining about 'dark energy' in pop music? Maybe I'm biased because I grew up listening to some ridiculous 80's metal, but c'mon guys, it's just music
