What makes you think he's referring to Drake?

Hoe, Jay Z Hall of Fame, ... ass down)
So that means you ain't b...hat else?)
So that means no more pla...hat else?)

There was beef that was defused before it got big. Basically drake was talking shit about kendrick off the record in a interview. Drake had his people destroy all footage of that event but the interviewer alluded to what happened.

In the line I posted drake has been beefing a lil with jay saing hes as big as jay.

Heres a shot drake sent at jay.

(I used to wanna be on Roc-A-Fella, then I turned into Jay)

Also with the control verse drake got really in his feelings.

And also sent shot toward kendrick saying

(I don't know why they been lyin'
But your shit is not that inspirin'
)

Refering to all the critical acclaim kendrick gets and the uproar of the control verse.

Also some shots at big sean.

Big sean No interviews

And I'm just not impressed by you niggas rapping fast
Who sound like one big asthma attack but trash when I’m rapping it back
Who you put in your top five and claim they the savior of rap

The heart part 4

30 millions later, my future favors
The legendary status of a hip-hop rhyme savior

Tiptoein' around my name, nigga, ya lame
And when I get at you, homie, don't you just tell me you was just playin'
Oh I was just playin' with you K-Dot, c'mon
You know a nigga rock with you, bro

Shut the fuck up, you sou...gga I know
Might end up like the last nigga I know
Oh, you don't wanna clash...ga, I know
I put my foot on the gas, head on the floor
Hoppin' out before the vehicle crash, I'm on a roll

Yellin', "One, two, three, four, five
I am the greatest rapper alive"
So damn great, motherfucker, I've died

What you hearin' now is a...ormal vibe

A difference between acco...onishments

I don't hate the track, it's alright.

As said, basing my expectations for the next album on the last rather than this single.

What about section 80 and overly dedicated? Where do you stand on those?

Section 80 is really good too. Overly dedicated is probably my least favorite of his discography, tho its still not bad by any means. I just think GKMC is brilliant, and TPAB is very close. Personally I would love to see GKMC made into a motion picture ala Purpe Rain.

There all great but I believe his artistry grows in complexity as he goes on.

Section 80 he has a lot to say talking about his generation. Early Kendrick story songs.

Overly Dedicated the only non concept project besides untitled just a bunch of good songs.

Good Kidd madd city the story of his life growing up in Compton. The most commercial pop structured songs. Album tells a linear story.

Tpab Story of where he is after the success his trials and tribulations and his view on the world.Extremely dense musically and lyrically. Less linear more of an overall look at life in general.

Can't wait till April 7th. All I know is it's supposed to be a little more commercial than tpab and it's about god.

First thoughts on new kdot album. Real raw and immediate the production reminds me of overly dedicated. Real smooth and he sings a little

Just gave DAMN first spin. It seems more uneven and not as focused as Butterfly.

But heavy bass and a dark production makes up for the lack of strong SONGS.

Oh well, Kendrick is still the best rapper alive.

Not to be hyperbolic but he warrants that. He hasn't made one bad project.

Overly dedicated
Good Kidd madd city
To pimp a butterfly
And now damn/ dam"nation" on Sunday.
