I don't understand these people...there are a few really good singers but they choose the worst songs perform! Come on...kimberly locke is a great singer but she is singing My heart will go on...ugh!
If you guys watch this show, who do you want to see win? I think my vote is for rueben.

Now that it is getting down to the wire I will start watching it. So I will let you know after tonight who I think should win!

I like "My Heart Will Go On" believe it or not I wish she would have done the stronger part of the song so she could really blow it out, but @ the top of the show they mentioned she, the other Kimberly & Trenyce (sp?) all had strepped throat, so maybe she couldn't. I'm still pulling for Kimberly Locke, I think her voice is great.

Ricky & Josh did good tonight, despite sucking wind 2 weeks in a row. They're lucky Cory got kicked off or one of them would have been gone last week.

Trenyce did very well IMO, only slightly botched one note. Don't know why Simon was so brutal w/ her. She needs a new hairdo though, QUICK!

Ruben is just smooth, confident, has a good time. Clay is too stiff but he's still good.

I'm thoroughly ashamed of how into this show I am!!

I have just one question, how in the hell has Carmen made it this far? She's not even in the same catorgory as the others. I agree with the Josh thing, he's pimpin the whole marine thing. Kimberly Caldwell needs to go sit her butt down in the audience with her boyfriend JD. But i must say, if Ruben doesn't win this thing i will not watch AI ever again cuz you know this ain't the last show. If he doesn't win it will be clear as all get out that America isn't down with a black person winning the contest. Tamyra was jipped last season. That Kelly Clarkson was good but not better than Tamyra. She we'll see how open minded america is after a few months...

I like Trenyce and Kimberly Locke, too - i think they have amazing voices, but have been off and on. I thought the best performance of the series so far was Trenyce doing "Let's Stay Together" a few weeks back. Blew me away. And Kimberly Locke on "It's Raining Me" - I can't believe she was in the bottom three.

Carmen deserves to be gone tonight. Ricky redeemed himself from a horrible performance last week. Kimberly Caldwell - I like her, she's got a Pink-like rock kinda voice... but she's not in the same league as the top contenders.

Clay Aiken - he's got a great voice, but he annoys me for some reason... too stiff, too...earnest. And Josh - he's OK. not in same league as top contenders.

Ruben is hands-down the best, if only for his ability to pick great songs. Two weeks ago he did "Sweet Home Alabama" and tore it up. He obviously sees the soul in various genres and embraces them. Several weeks ago the judges were comparing him to Luther Vandros. I think he is more comparable to Ray Charles in that Ruben can interpret so many musical styles with ease.

Doing "Sweet Home Alabama" was an interesting choice and he kept the song's southern rock flavor intact and still made it his own. No one on the show could have done justice to that song the way Ruben did. Not even the Marine where that song may seem right up his alley.

If Ruben is allowed to pick what he will sing on his album and he goes into the process not trying to be a certain thing (i.e. the next Luther, as most execs will no doubt try to box him into), his album could be fantastic. His rendition of the Manhattan's classic last night was steller and proved this man has a vast musical vocabulary compared to the others. The judges have been right the past couple of weeks in chastising the contestants for song selection when they have thousands to choose from. Ruben just has an innate ability the others lack. They are good, but don't have that something special. Ruben is the only real reason to watch for me.

Also, doing a Prince song would be great. I wonder what he would pick?

ok, so now i am really annoyed with America! That no singing, tone deaf, blondie hit song ruining carmen is not even in the bottom 3...i have to look ate her again next week!!! America is continually proving to me that they have no taste! First Prince can't get a hit single, now this!!!

America needs to clean out their ears for keeping Carmen. And Simon needs to be smacked upside the head for choosing her as his wildcard.
