Mary J. Blige is back with some new heat for her 13th studio album, Strength Of A Woman.

The album, which is dropping Apr. 28, includes 14 songs and some high-profile collaborations with Kanye West, Missy Elliott, DJ Khaled, Prince Charlez, Kaytranada and Quavo. West will appear on the album’s first track “Love Yourself,” while Missy, Khaled and Quavo are all featured on “Glow Up.”

“The song [with West] is crazy,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. ‘I can’t wait for people to hear it.”

She hasn't shared any details on the overall theme of the album. However, she's going through a very bitter divorce battle with her husband/manager.

Yeah but, "everybody knows we're going to get a great album because Mary's best when she's hurt/angry." Can't tell you how many times I've heard that one.

i am so not feeling the Kayne West production she could have left this one off. Thick of It and You + Me are my jams.

Not awful, not great. Kanye's guest appearance is the only one redeeming quality.

Like i said she could have left that joint off the project period.

Been waiting for a new MJB album fow a long time. She fills a distinct piece of the musical pie that I enjoy. No one else can quite replace it.

It's surprising that the single Thick of It has already been out for 6 months. I saw her in November when she and Maxwell came to Philly for the King and Queen of Hearts Tour. I really enjoyed her performance. She had some big hits while I was in high school off of the No More Drama album.

I Love The Queen of Hip/Hop Soul...Mary is the Damn Queen of my Generation....I don't know the name of the new Single but I heard it on the radio a couple of days ago...That single sounded like a bunch of fuss....I turned the station...

I love: Love Yourself, U + Me, and Hello Father.

I quite like: Set Me Free, It's Me, Glow Up, Indestructible, Thank You, Survivor, Find the Love, Smile, Telling the Truth, and Strength of a Woman.

I just don't like Thick of It.

Not the best Mary Jane has made, but definitely better than London Sessions.

I love Ms. Mary J , the lead single is okay, but I like the chorus. Give this project a listen when I get time.

I don't know. It was just alright for me, dawg. I probably would have appreciatied it more if she had some real musicians backing her instead of that generic computer-generated music. My favorite is "Hello Father", which is a bonus track on the Target version.

Last time Mary J. made an album with a song that I could actually remember long after I initially listened was 2003's "Love & Life". "Willing & Waiting" is still one of my favorite Mary J. songs. Can't remember much after that.

I love Hello Father too. It's the final on the main album.

The Target bonus tracks are mixed into the rest of the album. The Naked Truth and Love in the Middle are the bonus tracks.

I genuinely appreciate the emotional progression of the album. I went through a breakup with my exactly a year ago today and it's weird to me how I identify with so much of the album as a gay guy lol. I'm looking forward to seeing Mary for the second time in a year at Essence in July.
