She is doing what a lot of people can't: Make some good music that I can get into.

I think she is cool and beautiful and isn't overrated. She has some really catchy songs that I enjoy.

She certainly doesn't seem especially talented. She does seem to bridge hip-hop/R&B, and pop much to her advantage. That helped her get tremendous radio play, which is factored in the charts and gave her so much exposure. Most people with so many hits quickly become uncool to teens and young adults, but her beauty and charismatic personality helped her avoid this for the most point. Finally, she has gotten better in the past couple of years. I never paid her songs any attention until Stay, which I really like. Then, Anti is quite the album if you can deal with her singing which apparently many can not.
