LOTUS-Complete Edition SACD due on April 19 featuring seven previously unreleased tracks

Limited Japanese-only SACD Hybrid disc in paper sleeve. Lotus is a 1974 live album by Santana, recorded at the Osaka Koseinenkin Hall, Osaka, Japan in 1973. This is the ultimate. One of the rock masterpieces from Santana, Lotus, becomes a Japan exclusive SACD hybrid multi-channel edition (4ch mix). It uses two-layered SACD with DSD 11.2MHz mastering made in 2017. Seven unreleased tracks, which had been sealed for 44 years are included in this set, and finally listed on the original order. These seven are: "Japan," "Bamble," "Ummu Uum," "Sacred Light," "The Creator Has A Master," "SAVER," and "Conga Solo" (about 35 minutes total). Legendary engineer Tomoo Suzuki, who was responsible for recording and mixing of the original work, is responsible for mixing these seven tracks, using the original master tapes stored in Japan. 7-inch size mini LP (22 panel) faithfully replicates it's original LP designed by Tadanori Yokoo, including original color photo(s), liner notes, and the original obi. Also includes reproductions of a Japan tour pamphlet and an Osaka concert ticket. Japanese original release.

Lotus was already one of the greatest live albums I've ever heard. Played it way too many times at a particular period of my life. I'm probably more excited for this than the box set, but I'll definitely be checking them both out.

Lotus is an incredible live album.There are moments on this album that give me chills.That was such a wonderful time for Santana....they were talking things to a whole new level.

Ha! The ONE song I like the best isn't on a 19-CD set. LOL, this could only happen to me! I guess it's because Neal Schon performed the solo on the record, but I know Santana played it about a million times on tour.
