This board is one of the only places with any substantial discussion on Funkadelic's 3-disc FIRST YA GOTTA SHAKE THE GATE album. Of course, Prince fans would be the ones to take notice of it.

I've been listening to the album since it came out, and it's mad underrated. But I just bought a CD copy, and the track titled "Yesterdejavu" is not the same "Yesterdejavu" that's on every online copy. At all. It's a completely different song--a dance track where the vocal hook is "Kill it in the bed, call it homicide." And it's really good!

Can any P-Funk scholars shed light on what song this is? I can find no evidence of it existing by doing lyrics searches. And is my copy an anomaly? Does anyone else have a version with this track?
