YES...SIR...
this is the song that made me fall in love with Chaka Khan in the first place...i still play Naughty (lp) regularly...alotta talent worked on that album...a young Whitney Houston, her mother Cissy Houston, Luther Vandross, Chaka's brother Mark, Anthony Jackson & Marcus Miller on bass, Phil Upchurch on guitar.... timeless joints...i remember when i first saw the tracklist for Prince - Art Official Age, and thinking P had remade Chaka's version of Clouds,...but, nope...

I've also been listening to the classic I Feel For You album (1984)

The opening track, "This Is My Night" is such a jam. This was written and produced by The System (David Frank & Mic Murphy). |

A jam... YES!!! And so rarely performed live. I just wish she could remember the lyrics in concert. The version on the 'Remix Project' CD is my favorite version. Those last 47 seconds... YASS GAWD!

LOVE "Clouds!" It peaked at #10 American R&B, but should have gone #1! The only thing I never really cared 4 is the guitar solo. I wished it was another instrument, but don't know what other one they could have gone with. Still, a JAM! Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.
