for some reason,I rarely ever play the 'Identify Yourself' album. It's not terrible but it seems kinda disappointing compared to the previous album ('So Full Of Love') which is excellent. but this song you posted is OK...one of the highlights on the album

My uncle who was a huge O'Jays fan wore that album out. To this day I have both copies he owned. I know the lead single Sing A Happy Song was rather bland but this jam here more than make up for it. I used to like So Nice(I Tried It Twice)too. Don't forget the ballads Forever Mine and I Want You Here With Me. Don't laugh at my funk

'So Full Of Love' is my favorite Ojays album.I still play it all the time one great track after another and just when you think the album is slowing down, they funk things up with "Strokety Stroke",a serious party jam! Gonna pull out my 'Identify Yourself' vinyl and give it a spin.Haven't played it in awhile.
