Oops did not see the sticky on this. P-Nut was the most consistent, loyal of GC's Funk Army. Mug was always there from '75 on. What a lot of folks don't know is that he was a tireless songwriter as well. He's got plenty of tracks in the can for a solo album, let's hope it finally gets released. This one touched my heart as I spoke with him backstage several times down thru the year's first encountering him about '89 when George was touring Cinderella Theory. He got sick in 2016 and had to give up the stage but is all over Shake The Gate and the upcoming Parliament album scheduled for Fall 2017 release. |
