RIP Junie Morrison 62 yrs old.

Ohio Players and Parliament-Funkadelic member. Also had a solo career.

One of the funkiest men in the world.

Sad for sure, and too young once again. He was a super talented original. A mad genius of sorts. Think how young he was in the early 1970s doing his Ohio Players thang. One of his mostly unknown gems among my faves is this one ...

What I found didn't say. Apparently he died Jan 21 but his family just announced it on facebook today?!?

He joined in 70 I think akd was born in 54. So he was like 16 doing Ecstasy and Pain and Funky Worm. I knew he was yoing didn't know he was that young.

Thank you for this, very cool. He did not really address what happened with him when the Ohio Players went on to superstardom with Mercury Records in 1974.
