I Feel It Coming - The Weeknd SONG OF THE YEAR SO FAR!!

OK, so I heard this the other day. MY GOD! Guys - if you can't get action to this song,....and ladies, if you ain't feelin something when this comes on....well - something BIOLOGICALLY wrong with ya!

When this guy first came out, I wasn't feeling his tunes, but I said - "I'll keep an ear out for this cat, he's got Potential". And now, he's gone and dropped this one. SMASHED IT, to say the least,! Ladies and gentlemen - the Next Prince!

Exactly what I've been saying! One needs to stop overthinking it and just enjoy this finely crafted feel good tune! I had the pleasure of seeing perform this live for an hour set he did upon the album release, and it was even better live!

GTFOH with that blasphemy. Seriously post shit like next Prince elsewhere this gimmick isn't even near Morris. This is hotel lobby beach music with a billy goat whining about what he feels. getxxx was being kind imo.

The video you posted isn't Weeknd singing. That's some guy with a lame ass voice.

You can stream the original version.

I actually wasn't too hot on this song but maybe it will grow on me. I used to hate The Weeknd but have really warmed up to him as of recent. Starboy & False Alarm were top 20 songs of 2016 for me.

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

It's ok. I can see the appeal to some, and I'm a Weeknd fan, but he's just not diverse enough for me. Every song is so dark and moody, Can't Feel My Face is a standout departure from that for me. But he is a great vocalist and, if he expands his range of styles, could end up being a real special artist.

Not a bad song at all, just nothing particularly to me.

The chorus doesn't do much for me, but the rhythm track and the verses are great.

I understand that the chorus was kept simple on purpose, like on "Starboy", but I would have preferred something a little bit more interesting on it.

I think he has it, he's still very young and I'm looking forward to how he'll be in his 30's. Some of the tracks on beauty hinted at his musical maturity, the labyrinth duet in particular. I think what the chorus could have benefitted from though I like are vocal harmonies of his and not just from daft punk. The reason I loved the adlibs so much at the end is because we were waiting for them in the whole song and he delivered. Maybe a few more adlibs in the second chorus or a key change before the bridge would create a balance, but other than that, I can play it over and over

I wish the two would do a full album together, and Nile Rogers comes back

Identity

Abel is showing signs of improvement and maturity with every album. The songs are uniformly well-crafted.

I liked Starboy and think this is really the strongest song on here. He said he was really trying to capture a bit of MJ and Prince for this CD. I don't hear P but this song definitely has a MJ vibe and it's pretty catchy

Yes!!! It gives me the otw era feel good vibes, and also reminds quite a bit of you rock my world. Starboy also has a bit of Darkchild influence if you ask me
