Battle of The Titans: Ja Rule Disses Eminem Taken from Mtv.com
Ja Rule has turned his attention from Slim Shady's newest signee to Slim himself. On A Warrior's Words, the new mixtape by Murder Inc.'s Black Child, Rule responds to Em's warning of "Ja, you'll get it too" from the Benzino diss track "Go to Sleep." "Put your mics down, put your guns up," Rule says before rapping his freestyle verse. "What kind of world is this when a snitch gets praise?," Ja asks, talking about 50 Cent. He later calls out Marshall Mathers, saying, "I'm huntin' ya, blondie, with the sawed gauge/ You heard Joe Crack, I'll make ground beef out your baby ... / Em, you know you fear me/ 'Cause I'm clearly the rap game's Jimmy Hoffa." Unlike the real Hoffa, Ja Rule has been keeping a high profile lately — not only with his own self-promotion, but via 50 Cent's disses. A new 50 duet with Tupac Shakur called "The Realest Killas" recently hit the streets and finds the Billboard chart's top gun attacking what he calls Ja's obsession with being Tupac (see "50 Cent Disses Ja Rule On Tupac Joint; New Biggie Material On The Horizon").

why can't "beef" be lighter-weight, like the early days?

Hehehe "I'm gonna diss your adidas classics when I see ya" doesn't scare like "I'm huntin' ya, blondie, with the sawed gauge".

As much as I don't like the whole "thug mentality" bullshit that these guys seem to think is "cool", 50 Cent and Em could rap circles around Ja Rule's punk ass. He has no talent other than being able to sound like(rip off) Pac. By the way, don't Ja Rule look like that mole off of Secret Squirrel?

Call me when Biz Markee wants to battle Eminem!
I've never been into rap battles anyway, I just like hip-hop for the music (gasp). It just seems like name dropping to me. I kinda liked Jay-Z's "Takeover" but that's about it. Guess I'm not that hardcore though.

Ja Rule looks like a tiny alien. Oh shit, my hat done fell off

This is just sickening and it doesn't surprise me in the least. I am not a big fan of either, but this type of thing is happening so much. Why is there so much hate, racism and jealousy in this paricular musical genre?

That would be awesome if Ja Rule was just like Jimmy Hoffa...and disappeared.

"Battle Of The Titans" was sarcasm and I own music by neither of them but I'd take Ja's catchy singles (delivered in an annoying dog bark vocal) above Eminem's novelty material (delivered in annoying whiney nasal tones).
Don't like either of their flows but "Thug Lovin" with my man Bobby was the jam.

3 ignorant motherfuckers making fools of themselves whatever happend 2 the days when rappers solve their beefs FACE2FACE on the stage like REAL MEN instead if dissing each other behind a mic like female rappers? Damn, rappers 2day are turning into sissies! they act like bitchs, they don't act like men,,,they front alot about this "I'll smoke you" bullshit but when the REAL hours ticks you'll see their sorry asses hide behind whatever on their way!

this is really fuckin' SAD! ya know...some people say it's all about the record sales but...when people died in the past over this kinda stupid shit you'd think they'd have learned a lesson and would think...hey, this is not right...but NOOO! Nevermind the fact that they are so selfish that they can't see past their own lives to see how their words have a huge impact on kids today...either that or they don't give a shit and that's even worse. STUPID!
I can't stand Ja Rule! and M&M ain't that great either...played out for sure! Yeah...he can rap but...I hope he listens to his last album in a few years and thinks...ya know...I probably (for the sake of my daughter) shouldn't have said all the things I said about my on again off again wife like that. (realizing it is detrimental to his child) but I know I'm dreaming there! "not a fan" yeah...ok

Look, wasn't Ja Rule on "Can I Get A . . ." with Jay-Z and in that video with his rag and jeans worn just like 'Pac's? He's got a 'Pac obsession. And no banger uses those sappy, sing-songy rhymes that much,
As for this beef, it's trivial. It's like the WWE. they're using each other to sell records. This whole thug-life motif got Pac killed, and these knuchleheads STILL want to play (or stay) hard. Meanwhile, Talib, Mos, Common, The Roots, and De La Soul are keeping the genre from dissipating into utter minstrelsy. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016
