Should I Get Rahsaan Patterson's LPs??

I see his LPs in the "wrecka stow" lol and I want 2 buy his stuff but something holds me.

However, I read alot of critics describe him as the male Chaka Khan.

I really like his singing & I get that feeling that
he´s got that great potential 2 create a masterpiece
in the future. The albums I feel R promising.
Both albums got great songs on them but not
through out the whole album.
I guess I like his first 1997 album the most.
Especially Spend the night & Where you are.
If the whole album would have equal good songs it
would truly B a master piece.
I would not describe him as the male Chaka Khan though.
but I suggest U take a listen 2 those songs in the
wrecka stow.I know U gonna dig it!

I have his debut album, and I haven't listened to it in about 2 or 3 years...can't remember how anything sounds on it anymore, I didn't play it a lot. But there is one song that sounds just like Stevie Wonder.
This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

The Cat has Talent&alot of Up-Swing but Him&Eric Benet remind me alot of One another. Can't make a Solid Album all the way through&Got that Steive Wonder element among others but no direction to take it In IMHO.Patterson's First Album had Moments."Stop on By" was cool for a Minute.

Hey, I loved Rahsaan back in the "Kids, Inc." days smile smile

"K! I! D! S!...Yeah,
Kids, incooorpoorated...!!"

Stacy Ferguson and Renee Sands went on to form Wild Orchid,
and Jennifer Love Hewitt was on the last season.

And of course, who could forget all those guest appearances, such as Corey Feldman playing a leprecahn (Sp?) and Jeff "Chunk" Cohen singing "Baby, I'm a Star?"

was listening to "love... thy will be done" (martika's version) last night and noticed that it listed Rashaan as a background singer.

I like his albums but I never listen to them anymore.
Not because they're not good enough but simply becos
the overall albums lack that certain something that
keeps you hooked throughout.

"The Moment" is a song I still play a lot in my car.
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
