Earlier this month, Metallica returned to Oakland, California, to play a one-off hometown show.

In case you missed out on the performance, the metal legends have uploaded a clip from the show.

The Oakland show was the last stop on Metallica's 2016 tour in support of their new album, Hardwired...to Self-Destruct.

The band will return to the road in the New Year, with scheduled dates in Asia, Europe and Mexico. Metallica is also planning a full-scale U.S. tour in 2017.
