I don't think people are saying this but it does seem over the last decade or so Mariah has placed more emphasis on "trying to be sexy" for attention more so than the actual content of her music. She is very talented and accomplished, she doesn't have to do that.

That's assuming someone is forcing her to do it or she is just doing it for her career. Mariah doesn't have to do anything. If she is posing in sexual situations, maybe that's what she wants to do and what she chooses to do, which is her right.

I don't see why she can't be sexual and at the same time focus on her music.

I think she felt controlled by her ex husband as far as her image and she sees being sexual as her expressing herself without being told what to wear.

Me personally I'm not a huge Mariah fan and don't care too much for her recent music. But if you don't like her recent music, why not just say you don't like it and not bring what she wears into it. I don't see how the two are connected.

The ticket price seems very high. As far as I know Lionel and Mariah don't have a huge production or a lot of dancers or special effects so not sure why it's so high.

They would be better off doing a scaled down production that just focused on them singing their best known songs so they could reduce the price.

Especially since it's a hits tour, which is meant to appeal to casual fans. You don't want to make the ticket price too high to scare those off.

That is not assuming she is being forced. At the end of the day, she is a grown woman with kids and will do what she wants. I am simply giving my 2 cents on the poster. It seems like for todays generation this is becoming the "norm" for female pop stars and I hate how people are trying to write this off as "female liberation" when all it is is sexual capitalism. You can be sexy without showing your ass, tits and crotch. I don't think it is embarassing per se but I think its sad because this way of thinking is influencing a generation of young women who feel that showing ass, tits and their crotch is the standard for "sexy" and male affection.
