I actually wrote a bad check so I could get both Use Your Illusion records the day they came out (what a stupid 20 year-old thing to do)

and while there were a few songs I liked, I immediately understood that whoever threw wads of cash in their faces wrecked everything that made them so great just a few years earlier

in 1992 GN'R were like tacky rock n roll yuppies to me (except Izzy, who apparently felt the same way I did)

I can't answer this. For me, it would be "Something in the Water (Does Not Compute)."

Agree. This is totally impossible to answer. What style? What era? Slow jam or fast? Even if those questions were narrowed down I could not pick just ONE song. I really don't know many people that have just ONE favorite song of any style of music. That's why top 5 or 10 lists work much better for questions like this.

Hell most non-Prince fans don't even know he wrote this song. I could list 20 songs Prince will be remembered for before this song.

Purple Rain
When Doves Cry
Little Red Corvet
Let's Go Crazy
1999...You get the idea. "NC2U" is not even close.

Hey that blind girl was cute! But how about Rhythm of the Night by Debarge. That has to be in the top 10 at least? Doesn't it?
