It's too bad that James and the other members of the group can't get their lives together,reunite and play some shows.An act like DeBarge has enough hits to perform on one of those Old School concert tours (you know....the shows that feature acts like Color Me Badd,The Jets,and others).That way,they could make some money without having to bring out that crazy rumor every few years

Who did the child live with? Was she given up for adoption, because how does she know either of them are her parents? BRING THE DAUGHTER FORWARD! Because he can't confirm anything without ever having met her. She might as well have been in line to be Prince's heir - lotta lollipops in that queue, too.

James and El both look like hell lately. Drugs have fucked these people into oblivion. El DeBarge's album from a few years ago was so good, and I was hopeful he was making a comeback. But nope - he came back to the drugs.

In the end, let's see a DNA test that at least shows James is the father, then we can move from there. I doubt Janet is going to sink to this level, but if there was some way to find out for sure, it'd shut ol' girl up (the daughter) permanently. I googled her pic - she doesn't look like either of them. There are some pics where she has the "That's The Way Love Goes" hair & pose, but a hot iron does not a daughter make.

I never saw a name, just the pics. And if that's someone else's photo that is already a family member, then that's horrible. They're being used, too. It's terrible.

I don't really know who has what extra kid wandering around the U.S., but it's entirely possible. Those guy were getting ass left and right in their heyday probably, married or not. There has to be a few hiccups here and there that have since graduated high school.

Either way, I don't really buy the James & Janet story.

These days I believe anything is possible.

It's coming from a place of hurt. James's mother said that James never got over the breakup. Watching him talk about it confirmed that. You could tell it stills hurts him...over 30 years later.

Yeah, but with this you can see why she isn't with him if this is the best he can do in showing what he feels. This is mean and all about him in my book.
