Actually that was one I like the most. Physical Attraction is my favorite Madonna song ever. Where I live that song was played lots of time on R&B station.
the unreleased 1981 track "Don't You Know" should have appeared on the album! It's a terrific song. This early demo has a poor sound quality, but it really should have been developed and added to the album.

It's sounds like it would have been a hit.
it's a great song.It should have been on the album instead of the so-so "I Know It"
This was the coolest Madonna ever was and the fact that she thinks 'Into the groove' and 'cherish' is less worthy than 'give me your lovin', 'hung up' (yuck!!!), 'sorry' , 'beautiful stranger' (her most annoying song ever) and '4 minutes' shows how disillutional she is nowadays.
But to be honest she always disses her back catalogue then goes back on her word - i.e. telling Oprah that she will never perform LAV again in 1998.
The alernative album name and cover screams cheese and 80s - glad they didn't go that route.
I remember the hoopla behind Ray of Light and fully understand why she said that. Did it last? No way in hell! She was a new mother and felt enlightened and once Guy Ritchie left (I know, he wasn't in the picture yet) or right before it, she was overtly sexual again. Hard Candy really recaptured the vibe of the first album if you ask me, at least musically like she's having fun. Confessions was great too but more like music she probably listened to underground in the early 80's, like her 90's club mixes, and like what artists like Kylie Minogue and them were doing in the 00's
