He's no great shakes lyrically and I don't think his flow is that good (poor man's DMX/2pac) but he has carved a successful niche out for himself with catchy duets. Although judging by Mesmerise w/ Asahnti the formula seems to be getting a little stale now... | |

the first time i heard this guy i thought he sounded like the "wino" voice that dr. dre does on the 50 dollar sack pyramid.
never thought that people would eat this up. sorry y'all, i don't feel him at all...lyrics, voice, the whole package. i'm also personally sick of "name rapper or singer" FEATURING "name rapper or singer, plus 2 other no-name rappers looking to ride the coattails of this single, plus guest rap by producer of this track" (also groove sampled courtesy of forgotten 70's/80's group). good gawd. it takes 20 MF's to put together a hit record??? $.02. --gm-- i....feel.... cold as a razorblade, tight as a tourniquet, dry as a funeral drum...... | |
