This is a hard one. I don't like the person she has become. Her videos are horrible. I can't stand all the different ass shots she allows in every single video. She is beautiful and sexy, but she has begun to look and act trashy IMO. I would have to say J-Ho. Her music sucks and when I see Ben with his hands all over her, it looks so phoney to me, like they are both doing this for publicity only.

J-Ho. Her song with LL Cool J just sounds like a slowed down I'm Real. Her voice is thin too.

Man, I used to like the chic alot. All of her movies are wonderful! she used 2 put it down like what when it came 2 her acting, she had the tuff-around the way girl with a good heart and a mad sex appeal in her movies, she was like a Latina Pam Grier/Sharon Stone. And when she stepped in the music biz I wasn't too crazy about her but I still loved her tho, after that the P.Diddy saga she showed her REAL colors but the WORST 2 come was using the n-word even tho she doesn't relate nor reflect it in any kinda way.

I remember last year in radio WBLC they invited Canrad Mohammed and he was talking about the word "nigger/nigga" and its effect on the music 2day which let "outsiders" use it like J.Lo. LOL when her name crossed the conversation he said "I bet you won't catch her running around her block calling her people [spic]." that was funny yet it hits on the right nerve.

The thing with the MOBO Award refusal will hurt her longterm.

She is a Hustler&In the Rigth Business.She is like a Modern Day Cher&anything goes.She can't Sing&isn't as Good of a Actress as Cher but She understands how to Hustle&Play the Game.She does whatever She has to no matter what the Cost.the only Movie I liked by Her is "Selenia"&no wonder why She got on so well with Puffy:She Pimped Profits&a Career off a Dead Person&Ran with it.She is Considered a Triple Threat Entertainer&that is what She is Banking on.I can't stand Her Personally but She ain't going nowhere.10 Years ago She was a Back-up dancer in Janet Jacksons"that's the way love goes" 10 Years later She is riding high while Janet is on the Ropes.

Absolutely nothing that anyone is saying about J-Lo hasn't already been said about Madonna.

There's much bigger ho's out there, with much less talent (SEE:"Lil' Kim"), and yet they don't get as much heat as Ms. Lopez. Wazzupwitdat?!?!?!

I disagree with that. Janet is an Icon. J.Lo is just some chick who STILL HASN'T DONE A MAJOR U.S. OR WORLD TOUR. She doesn't have the artistic clout to pull off a tour show. Plus, she doesn't even sing ALONE on her records. She's only had one #1 song that was just her featured solely on the track ("My Love Don't Cost A Thing"). Almost every hit she's had as been with other artists (2 with Ja Rule, LL Cool J, Styles & Jadakiss, Marc Anthony). She literally depends on rap artists to survive chartwise. She can't carry a song on her own. She released "Alive" last year and it sunk to the bottom of the charts. Janet doesn't have to prove anything she is already an icon and has had MANY, MANY more years of experience in the music/entertainment game. Where's J.Lo's grammys or awards? Where's the critical acclaim? Sure, she's in every magazine, but so was Britney back in 1999 and 2000. Opinions change rapidly.

Why is everone so down on this girl? Is it jealousy? I really like her and have from day one! She is beautiful and talented in my opinion. Whoever said she doesnt sing ALONE on her tracks... please recheck your references and her first album should be your start. Her acting skills are not only apparent in Selena, she was good in Anaconda, The Wedding Planner and IMHO acted her ass off in Enough. I will defend the girl to the end because all though she has maybe made a couple of bad decisions in her life as we all do only they are not publicized for the whole world to judge!, she is a woman that has succeeded both in acting and music and not many others have that accomplishment to be proud of.

I can't believe you guys are defending her. I don't think she can sing at ALL, and has she ever sung live in concert?

As an actress? Well, I liked her in Out of Sight, but there are far better actresses out there who can put more into her current roles. Leave the comedy to Sandra Bullock.

Reading further comments, I must add that I do have mixed feelings about Jennifer Lopez, but it doesn't make sense to me when people 'hate' or dislike her when she's doing the same thing Janet, Madonna, Britney, have done, or are doing.

Janet Jackson's voice is no better than Jennifer Lopez. They can both make it sound like they are singing when they are actually doing more talking than singing in a sexy tone that people sometimes find appealing...

But I do think Madonna is a way better singer, but if that's all the case, and because of the fact that she keeps waving her ass all up in the air, like if it's the only 'balloon' in the city, or the world, which are among some things I do not take to, I must say, that at least she hasn't done not even one plastic surgery, to the public's knowledge that is, which makes the other cases even a sadder one.

So if it's all about the bad singing, and semi-good acting, look over some more...and which brings me to say, keep going J.Lo, and don't care WHAT THE F---!!!
