The person in your avatar didn't seem to think so, or did she buy her way into Mike's 2001 concerts in NYC too?

Michael did not pick any of the artists that performed for him at the 30th anniversary special in 2001. David Guest the producer arranged the performers for the show.

Receipts below: From Michaels VIBE 2001 Interview.

VIBE:

How involved were you in selecting the artists to perform in your 30th Anniversary special?

MJ: I wasn’t involved at all.

http://en.michaeljackson.ru/interviews/vibe-magazine-interviews-michael/

And Diddy is full of ISH, I don't believe that story went down like that. JUST like Fake Justin tried to say Michael persuaded him to go solo, I don't believe that either and even if these scenarios were true, this still has no bearing or justifies the fact that Beyonce is overrated. Why do you yall think just because a legend compliments another current artist that in some way "validates" them. Its a very immature logic. Michael has never ever complimented Beyonce on her music or performances. He has never said he was a fan. However, you will find multiple quotes of Michael praising and stanning for Chris Brown and Usher. Michael even personally called Chris Brown and complimented him on one of his performances and wished him a Happy Birthday.

So what? neutral Prince shook her hand and meant her That doesn't mean she is the greatest thing ever. Prince meant lots of other artists and was closer with other artists like Janelle Monae who he stanned hard for and actually collaborated with musically. And before you say Prince performed with her, the Grammy organizers said after he died Prince did not want to perform with Beyonce and they had to beg him to performer with her.

Seems to be a lot of people with ESP on this site that knows what people are thinking. Here's an interview Natalie gave in 2013 and one of the comments was about the country audience

It's hypocritical to constantly talk about a person you don't like. You haven't given any evedence either. What proof did you give that she wasn't invited to the CMAs and Natalie from the Dixie Chicks defended Beyonce on her twitter. You seem to claim the Dubya comments but said nothing about what Natalie said about Beyonce

Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines Responds to Backlash Over CMA Awards Performance With Beyonce
11/3/2016 by Colin Stutz Billboard

The Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines is responding to the online controversy surrounding the band's performance with Beyonce at the CMA Awards on Wednesday night.

While the collaboration was by far one of the award show's most talked about moments, it stirred a backlash on social media due to the Dixie Chicks' past criticisms of Republican politics and Beyonce's participation in the Black Lives Matter movement.

The singer and guitarist made jokes on Twitter saying that her band and Beyonce had been invited back to co-host the show next year, but she had to decline. She then went on to say she had "used" the CMA Awards to fulfill her dream of singing with Beyonce.

More drama around the performance arose when it was noted that the performance and any mention of it was missing from the show's website and many accused the organization of folding under the pressure of the backlash. A rep has since issued a statement stating that this was due to Beyonce's licensing agreement.

.

Here's their Twitters if you want to know what the Chicks have to say about the matter

No its hyprotical and immature to argue that people can not express dislike for something on a public discussion board. Thats encouraging the censorship of certain opinions over others.

It's only hypocritical if said person does the same thing. I didn't bash any performer. According to you and the other poster with the cat avartar, it's an opinion when someone else defends Beyonce, but a fact when you say her music is trash. Free speech has to do with the government, a private site can censor anything they want. I've seen the mods here snip comments all the time and that's their right to do so since they run the site. Free speech doesn't apply.

But your bashing people who choose to criticize artists they have criticism for. It is an opinion period whether you agree with it or not. In this entire thread most people have been praising and fonding over Beyonces performance and defending her appearance on the show BUT then as soon as someone posts a criticism for Beyonce you come with this PC argument, it is hyprocritical. If people liked the performance that is fine BUT people are ALSO entitled to say they did not like the performance too.

Saying that you didn't like the performance is one thing, but spouting about some conspiracy that has nothing to do with said performance is another. You didn't criticize the performance, you just criticize Beyoncé as a person as always. When I mentioned other acts who were not country that have performed at the CMAs, you said nothing, but only Beyoncé being there is a problem for you. Whether you think Beyoncé is a nice person or not has nothing to do with the performance or her music. If Beyoncé or The Dixie Chicks were invited or not invited has nothing to do with the performance. They were there. You just don't like Beyoncé like Vainandy doesn't like Whitney Houston, heard you the first time. I guess he got tired of talking about her and stopped coming here. lol I didn't just single out Beyoncé but defended the Dixie Chicks too from the poster who said they didn't belong at the CMAs because of the Dubya comments.

Unless someone was doing a séance I don't know how it's possible for Michael Jackson to do an interview in 2015.

I haven't seen someone so pressed over Queen Bey in a long time. Its always the same thing. Can't stand her. Can't stand to see her get any shine. Can't stand to not be typing essays about her on the internet.

So what she performed at the CMA's? It's all anyone remembers about that janky ass show and I'm sure the producers enjoyed the ratings boost.

So what she out shined Rihanna at the the VMA's. Did you see Rihanna perform? It wasn't a mean feat. Again, most talked about part of the show.

She outshined Coldplay at the Superb Owl? Who is checking for Moldplay in 2016?

New album released too close to Prince's death. Come TF on! She's supposed to reaarange her album release because Prince died? Some of us enjoyed the release for no other reason than we could stop crying about Prince.

Didn't pay due deference at the BET awards? We're there not enough tributes? Are you mad at all the other people who didn't tribute as well? Did you wanna see Desiigner perform "Gotta Broken Heart Again" or Future perfom "Planet Earth?" Is it not enough that she devoted time in each and every one of her concert stops to pay homage?

Guess not.

If Beyonce ain't your cup of tea then so be it. But wasting all this font on someone you hate makes her look good and you look crazy.

Nope not true. I voted for Bush and I did NOT for Trump.

The Dixie Chicks ruined their career when they said this about President Bush.

.

The Risky Move: On March 10, 2003, the Dixie Chicks were on the opening date of their Top of the World tour in London, England, just days before the initial invasion of Iraq. "Just so you know," lead singer Natalie Maines told the crowd, "we're ashamed the president of the United States is from Texas."

They were talking about OUR President on foreign soil. That's not cool. And it wasn't cool with the country music establishment either.

.

President Bush NEVER said the things that Trump has and NEVER degraded women the way Trump has.

.

I was totally shocked that the Chicks were allowed back on stage at the CMA's. The CMA's figured that it all be over looked with the Dixie Chicks because Beyonce was there to save their ass.

.

Again, my problem is with the Dixie Chicks, not with Beyonce....Although I do agree with other posters here, who have said that Beyonce and JayZ make everything about them. I'm to the point where I am really tired of Beyonce and her thinking everything is all about her. As far as I'm concerned, Beyonce can take a break and it wouldn't bother me one bit.
