Loving the New Radiohead!!!

How do they keep doing it? This album is brilliant!

Tracks that sounded a little lackluster yesterday, are slowly growing on me with every listen. I can hardly wait to hear the mastered version.

Anybody else heard the album in it's entirety?

Any thoughts? Favorites so far?

it's alright can't see why they get all the adulation they recieve.

can't understand most of the 'singing' but the tunes are harmless enough. it was good to have in the car this morning cos it was like elevator music in the background

I love it, too. It grows with every listen, like a Radiohead-record is supposed to! My favourites so far: "Where I End And You Begin", "2+2=5", "I Will", "There There", "Keep The Wolf From The Door" and "Backdrifts"

They're supposed to be "rough studio mixes" right? Well they
sound like demos to me. Flat and hollow. But still, you can
get a sense of the basic structure of the album and it is a
good one. Sort of a return to The Bends/Ok Computer.

Still, I wonder how much of a KidA/Amnesiac will sneak in
during the final stages of production. I hope a lot heheh.

The only Radiohead song I can stomach is "Paranoid Android." And "Creep". The rest, I don't know, I just don't get it, I guess.

Have you ever really listened to them? It takes time, you know...

Haven't heard the new material yet, but looking forward to it. Glad to hear the new stuff is a bit more 'guitar based'. Much as I loved the experimentation of Kid A and Amnesiac, my favorite songs are tracks like 'Just'.

well said. they sound horrible... real bad. I can't wait to hear the finished versions. The songs themselves are great.. not alot of strong melodies like The Bends... more of Amnesiac meets OK computer... But i'm excited about it.

But yeah - the rough mixes definitely sound like rough mixes.
