I love this song!! That joint is the bomb! However it is somewhat atypical of Parliament and perhaps more akin to a Funkadelic song. Clinton and Co showed that could do disco better than any other anyone else and that chorus is so dreamy. The freaky humor is still there though!

I love how, throughout this whole album, they make great references to water & swimming & all that..
& as it's been noted elsewhere, it wasn't all simply about "the water"..
it was really a sort of "social commentary" on the condition of a certain group of people...
